According to A.H on My350Z, Technosquare likes Injen's intake design for the 2007-up Z's HR engine best out of all aftermarket intakes they've tested thus far. And Stillen's Gen III intake for the G37 is almost the exact same design.

It's proven quite a challenge to locate a GTR that meets my desires, premium with the silver premium paint option, and not 15 to 20 k over sticker theres been several i've been in talks with, but not "the one" yet. Plus the people I've talked to about selling my car would prefer the tuning to already be performed so they can just drive it like a mad man with no investment.

a guy at HIN in Pleasanton, CA had an IP with mag blue iForged wheels. he said he purchased it from North Carolina, flew there and drove back. he bought it from NC because that particular dealer is NOT charging markup.

When stillen said you can take the splash guard off when weather permits to get better airflow, can you still wash your car??? I would think the sheild would need to be in place anytime your car was washed, so switching it out all the time would be a pain in the ***.

Do you leave your engine running when you wash your car?

most of here wouldn't take our cars through a car wash like that so it should't be that much of an issue. also, coudln't you put your car in neutral and then have the roller push it? or just turn car off while its being washed then back on when the wash is done and drive to air blower??

The shield probably won’t protect against water sprayed directly at the filters. It doesn't cover the entire filter. But hydro-locking takes quite a bit of water usually when the intake is submerged and sucks in water. Water should not be much of an issue. The filters are soaked with oil that repels water. By the time the mist gets through the hot intake pipes it will be vapor. If you’re concerned about water getting in the engine use the bags like Injen offers.
