STILLEN Generation 3 intake!!!

We wanted you guys to hear it first.. we've finalized the development, testing and production on the STILLEN Generation 3 Cold Air Intake Kit. Here's an excerpt from the blog release:

"We’re proud to announce the release of our STILLEN Generation 3 Ultra Long Tube Intake for the G37 Coupe (Part # 402846). This intake is the testament of the level of commitment from our R&D department, who went through over 50 variations before finalizing the design. The air filters are placed outside of the engine bay directly behind the main grille and are protected by a urethane splash guard."

This intake dynos at 18.5 hp to the rear wheels!

A special (limited time) upgrade option will be made available to current Generation 2 owner's. Check out our blog for more information.

Hey Guys,

We knew that our gains would be challenged so we are prepared to offer a kit to a trusted and respected member of the forums for testing.

If anyone has any recommendations on a tester we would be happy to work with them!

Kyle, where do the filters sit? Should I fear driving in the rain? Is hydrolock a possibility?

The filters sit directly behind the main grille in front of the radiator, and have a urethane shield in front of the filters. Optimum for air flow, and no chance for hydrolocking (unless you submarine the entire car, then it's gonna happen with the factory)

whoa, love how the intake sits in the engine bay. 18hp is really pushing it, i wont be surprised if it gains good numbers.

You know what though, with Stillen I think the numbers are more reliable. Injen to my knowledge has never made a post here not counting gamedog, JWT is in the FBI witness protection program for producing .0049 intakes every month, and fujita is in the fuji islands for all I know. Stillen is active here and they know if they flop they will catch some heat and need to provide answers.
