didnt cobb tuning say that intake does not make any power? remember that earlier in the year.

 

You can laugh all you want, but the reality is we are going to get more than 4hp on a stock setup, and I'm sure many others like myself would agree that we weren't expecting 14hp, if I get 6-10 (which I think will happen on stock car) I will be more than happy for the price I paid. So laugh all you want, some people took a gamble and some didn't, no need to laugh at us and act like you're a hero!!

seriously, injen stated that there would be a 14hp gain, they need to stand by their words....if there was no 14 hp gains, then they shouldnt say that. im pretty sure majority of the people who brought the intake expected 14hp.

As far as the claimed 14 hp from Injen, if you compare your lowest baseline from the other day (I think about 290ish, right?) and your highest run today (nearly 304), it DID get around 14. That's probably how most manufacturers get their numbers.

FUJITA'S FTW!!!!!! AND $500 BUCK CHEAPER. Sorry but I think you all put too much faith in the intake. Every car I've had I've put an intake on, and the gains are always minimal. Main reason I see to do it is for the sound, and cleanable filters. Sorry to all that thought you'd really get 10 hp, K&N brags 10-20 hp all day long with there filters and no one actually believes that.

 

buddy, that 290hp when pms did something wrong and redid her run or something. i do not remember and cant find that thread from yesterday. 299 hp was her final dyno run.

her 290 hp dyno run had an exhaust leak. the second run was 299hp.

oh, youre right. i reed her redo dyno thread the wrong way, thought the first run has the exhaust leak.

however, her final run was 299.5, so injen only had like a 4 hp gain.
