A couple questions, are you going to have a polished muffler in the near future for this setup and is there plans to use a lighter material to lose some weight but still have the power? The non polished muffler just looks kind of cheap to mean eventhough no one will really see it.

what do u guys think of JWT Pop Chargers + Borla exhaust? Think I'll be good on air/fuel ratio and just resetting my ECU? I just want like 20 total whp from 2 bolt-ons and I'm happy for 1-2 years.

Also, sorry if this has been answered, but is Nismo gonna make stuff like intake, exhaust for our cars???

Thanks for your interest in our system! As it stands, the mufflers will keep their same finish & the tips will be the only fully polished part on our exhaust. We understand that a lot of people prefer having polished mufflers/pipes/etc. But polishing metal is a labor-intensive process that significantly increases the price of the system. Our take is a lot of people polish their rims b/c they’re visible, but how many polish their axles? The undersides of cars quickly become dirty. And instead of looking shiny for a few hundred miles in places you don’t see every day, we prefer to invest in durable materials that will stand the test of time.

Mention of durable materials addresses your second question - we used aircraft-grade T304 Austenitic Stainless Steel to construct the exhaust. We feel this material is ideal for making car exhausts. It's fairly lightweight, rust-resistant, and very durable. Along with our rigorous R&D phase and attention to workmanship during fabrication, the high quality of our raw materials is what enables us to offer a Million Mile Warranty with our exhausts. You will not find another exhaust company that confidently stands behind their products the way we do.

Thanks again for your input & lemme know if you have any more questions…

No worries - it's my pleasure bboysteele.

Several members have asked about torque numbers - our dyno results showed our exhaust system had 12-15 ft lbs improvement over stock.

Our full retail MSRP is $1499.99. However we suggest doing your homework & checking out our distributors for a more competitive price. Just punch in your zip code & our website will tell you where the closest Borla dealers are: http://www.borla.com/locator/

You bet. 12-15 ft-lbs of torque gain over stock, just from our cat-back exhaust. And as you can see from the first post in this thread, MaxToTheG37 showed a 16 hp gain at the rear wheels. No tuning, no cutting, no welding, just bolt-on our part & drive.

note that the 16whp was on a dyno dynamics whichs yield +18whp on a dynojet... that was ON TOP of HFCs...

so HFC + Borla Exhaust would give you a nice 30 hp WITHOUT ecu tuning (re-flash) ? WICKED!!

thats the way it "seems" but thats not the way it works. 2+2 doesnt = 4.

I know its how it looks... but to say its 30hp.... is a stretch. If I was guessing I say around 20hp...

And the other thing to remember is that each car reacts a little different to each mod. You might get a little more or a little less than Max got. The best way to find out is to do a before/after dyno.

I'm very impressed with the numbers the G37's put down. If only I can have that engine on my 06 G35c...I'd be one very happy man

Now, if only it were as easy to make it shed some weight
