Not Again! Exhaust issue

Well, i was one of the first to have the dealership order a new OEM exhaust from Japan when my G37 exhaust broke and gave the infamous rattling sound.
The exhaust took 3 weeks to come in, which is 3 weeks of annoying chainsaw rattling from the exhaust. Anyways, it was fixed and the problem was solved.

2 months later

To my beloved ears, i start the car today and what do you know......the chainsaw is back...Looks like I'll be getting another new exhaust.

hey maannn, SAME boat... i just made a similar post in some thread the other day... sayin i was prolly one of the first if not THE first to get a new muffler cuz of the baffles goin bad... and guess what... goin to the dealership tomorrow for SAME problem just a few months later

thinkin like u about aftermarket and lemon law too =p

Let's see what happens... they kept my car for two days last time cuz it took em that long to have the part shipped here. So tomorrow they just wanna hear the noise, and THEN order the part so i'm not w/o my car for too long.
I'll prolly go back for the new muffler and get my 15K service next week.

Keep us posted, and i will too. (Wonder if they can ship the optional axle back, or mufflers that the 370GT gets over there in japan, and install that instead.... hmm, prolly not cuz not emissions tested for the states)

make them fix it.. Even if you are getting an aftermarket exhaust still get a 100% working OEM exhaust

yup^^

i wonder if it has anything to do with driving style.

i like to let her loose every now and then... well, alot actually
and use paddles alot for the corners or DS mode... also when the time and location is right, i cruise controll at 90 alot....

anyone out there with opposite driving habbits of mine, and still having this issue?

if it has anything to do with the driving style than thats no excuse. I should be able to drive it like its stolen all the time if i want to, w.o some exhaust breaking.

do u hear a tincan noise? all cars sound louder when u just first start it. if u do hear the tin can sound, then it is the exhaust
