so the feb build is a quieter exhaust!??? lol that sucks....so the sexier sound on the quirky muffler build may have been a tease???

But wait

We would have to use the same recorder at the same distance to have a comparison.

I can't tell a difference on my new one. But I only had the car 2 weeks with old one and 2 days after new one.

I remember my G37 wasn't all that loud when it was new... then it got louder about the same time the muffler started buzzing... so I think it was louder because the muffler was broken.

Fixing it probably makes it quiet like day one again.... which, I have to say, I definitely preferred -- buzzing aside.

yep what he said^^^ When I got mine replaced it was quieter than the older one then it got louder with the buzzing.

now that I have HFCs however I think that it will equalize.
