Sound clips, anyone?

 

Yea solo im lemoning mine next week and im gonna go pick up a new 335

 

I had the same problem, just had it replaced!!

 

someone post up a vid or sound clip of the rattling! i'm getting paranoid now...

Thanks!! For the ones that having that trouble with the exhaust just go and have it replaced, i'm sure they are going to have a recall soon!!

I've cut open a G37 muffler and found that it was full of all kinds of crazy little parts and pieces.

Right behind the inlets of the muffler there are elbows that are slip fit onto the inlet nipple. I'll bet the slip fits are comming off and the elbow comes lose.

The muffler is a bizzar, multi chamber design. A lot of pieces, screws, baffles, little tubes, big tubes, stamped & layered sheet metal cases and channels.

Not partucularly good for flow but it also seemed over engineered.

same problem here... dealer is going order new exhaust...i think all of us should send letter to infiniti and make them recall...

 

what kind of rattling are you guys talking about? the only rattling is when its really cold when i turn on the engine..it wasnt tha bad.

 

they did engineer the exhaust partly for sound...so maybe that's why it's such a clusterfawk...

 

yea agreed.. ^^ think im going to have them replace mine before i get my FI exhaust put on
