Removing Resonators...

I was thinking of removing the resonators on my stock exhaust to get a more noticable sound/performance. Is this a good idea??

good idea for what? it will change the sound and the hp. in a good or bad way? try it and find out. I would not do it. Modifing stock stuff just doesnt seem smart. If you want a nicer sound buy and exhaust

No. It is a horrible idea. It will sound like crap.

It doesnt sound like crap... My neighbor did it to his and it seriously makes it sound like a Ferrari. Its a little louder and deeper. BUT! apparently he is getting a rattling sound in his cabin now and Infiniti told him it was because of what he did and wont cover the repair cost.

It sounds nice and not ricey at all.

Will update you on what the deal with the incabin noise is...

How it sounds is very subjective, you think it sounds great. However it most certainly sounds absolutely nothing like a Ferrari. I suppose I'm more practical and wouldn't remove something like a resonator for a deeper sound that's just not really attractive to my ears. Especially at the cost of screwing up my car like your neighbor did. Good luck with the rattle and the exhaust fumes.
