Post new stillen long tube intake

i just bought and installed the new chrome long tube stillen intake on my g37s mt. the install was easy and straight forward. it looks and sounds good and I can feel some difference in the torque. I had some major issues with the product when I received it. I contacted kyle millen at kylem@stillen.com and he made it right. there's a lenghtly post at nicoclub.com under intakes and rumors by chuckyl (me) if you're interested. as noted earlier the price was high $505.00 including shipping. I'm reasonablily happy with the product but must admit the air boxes look a little cheap. I wouldn't buy another one until they improve the looks of the boxes. I'll take some pics if I can figure out how to post them. I'm planning on getting an exhust then I'll dyno and post the results. it would be smarter to wait and do a super charger but I don't want do anything that major (warranty). wolf technogies has a pretty decent intake set up it's a lot cheaper and is supposed to make good power and torque.

Dude after so many threads on this forum you still went out and bought something proven to not make power by cobb tuning. you feel torque? 3 lb tq is not noticalbe. sorry dude but you got taken. don't know if u wanted power or looks. if looks and sound no sweat. if power sorry u didn't get any. you should search these forums. a noticeable amount of power will be at least 10-15 hp and lbtq

Solopresident, I odered the Stillen before I read the Cobb post. I choose the Stillen bc of the cold air boxes, the looks and their rep. I know that no intake is going to give a significant increase but there is some thought that a intake may help gas mileage and overall airflow for after market cats and exhusts. I made the post to help others make an informed decision if they decided to go the intake route. Hind site being 20/20 I'd sugest just adding K&N filters to the stock set up. I deleted the post prior to this one b/c I found myself being defensive so if you red it I apologize. Ordered the F.I. cats and exhusts. Will follow up with dynos after install.
