haha, that's bad if the mod bug hits you before even getting the car.

will do. i planned on parking the car in my garage W/O the intakes and taking a reference vid with the hood up. then doing the same once the intakes are in. hopefully under the same conditions, you'll be able to hear the core of the difference.

When we do intake temp tests (Fujita intake), we notice about a 20 degree F increase while driving in the city. We see temps at stop lights rise to about +50-60 degrees above outside temp (this can differ between models but even on a turbocharged saturn sky redline, driving temps were very good). The intake temp is different than underhood temps. The G35, 37, 350Z, and most newer cars have temp readings in the sensor. While your car is moving, intake temps go way down and of course at a stop light, idle, or in traffice, temps do rise.

So how does this compare to stock... temperature wise... both at stop/idle and while driving?
Thanks for posting!

Guys... i wasn't that serious about these intakes just yet. However, i just heard them in a 2007 G35 sedan and... W O W ! ! ! !

The part number is SR-2206 for the G37 but the sedan's was SR-2205, so i guess i cant buy it from car domain just yet and avail their free shipping.
This may have been already posted (there are like three diff threads mentioning the Fujita) but does anyone know for sure that the SR-2205 will not fit our G37's?

Just curious.

the 2205's won't fit. at least i've heard that from a few sources. why don't you just buy the 2206's? go to everythingg35.com and purchase away.

Seeking for G37 intake...

I just purchased Red G37 Journey with sports package couple weeks ago and already planning on getting the intake system for it. I've seen Stillen intake system with heat shield which I believe should provide more consistent gain compared to one without it.

Are there any other options in the market yet.

Stillen's "intake" shouldn't even be called one. It looks so cheap and is overpriced.

Injen/HKS Intake

Just spoke with Injen and they are working on their g37 intake right now. I heard one on an IS350 and it sounded sweet! Anybody ever try the HKS racing suction reloaded intake? I hope they make one for the G37. It would be nice to keep all aftermarket parts JDM. Now I just need to get the car.
