Tpms chore

Hi all,

Hopefully some help could be found here before i shell out more $$$.

I have G37x 2010 with 45k miles. A month ago TPMS light started blinking and I figured that 2 sensors went bad. I went to town fair tire and they switched all four sensors (their tool didn't register any of my sensors and they said all were bad while actually only 2 were, I only figured that out now when I educated myself about the error codes and looked up my notes). $160 later the light comes back. The shop installed Autel MX sensors with two frequencies. Another hour at the shop and they reset the TPMS light and relearn the sensors. After another 20 minutes on the road the light is back and so am I at the shop. I've been to the shop thrice and light still comes back.

So I am tired of wasting my time at the shop and I ordered TS508 maxi tpms tool for another $200 hoping that will be able to fix it on my own. After some more hassle with the tool I managed to hook up the sensors (figure 1 below). But the light still comes back after 20 minutes on the highway; and the error is: no data from four sensors. First I thought it was the issue with TPMS transmitter in the glovebox but I figured that only two sensors were reporting errors before so it's not it most likely.

So what do you think guys? Incompatible sensors? I tried deflating the tire to 20psi after hooking up the sensors and getting no errors but the TPMS error doesn't come up so the sensors are definitely not communicating with BCM. I ordered 1 OEM TPMS and will hook it up and check if it will actually report an error but before going forward with more $$$ (it's been already $350) I wonder if you could chime in?

Thanks.

I think wrong sensors. i had a similar issue and it turned out the seller sent me the wrong one. There is an important distinction between years also. 07-09 use the same TMPS sensors and then 10+ are different.
