TPMS Dual Failed

Has anyone else have two TPMS's fail at the same time?

I was driving along took a bit of a hard corner nothing too serious and my TPMS light came on. I went to a tire shop nearby within 10 minutes. My pressure was fine but he said it wouldn't read both my rear TPMS's .. his conclusion they both died? ... At the same time?

Thanks.

Maybe the sensor's battery went dead...
If the sensors were from the same lot, considering they have the same lifetime, it might be possible...

how old are the TPMS? try a different shop to get them to sync. I remember Firestone was not able to sync my TPMS, but another shop was able to.

Had that same experience some years ago... one shop couldn't sync the driver's rear, and another shop could. OP, try another shop before buying replacement parts.

With two sets of wheels, I spend four winter months with the TPMS lit up. At first it bugged me, although not enough to do this dance twice a year. Now I barely think about it. Just eyeball the tires before you get in, which is a good practice regardless of the sensors.

I just purchased 4 TPMS from ebay for my new wheels for $55. I went and installed the tires to Tires.com store and sync my new TPMS with no charge. Also I had them just sync another set of TPMS with no installation and they did not charge me anything. But they try to sell me new tires.
