So my car just made a chattering noise when turning left, in first gear slow/mildly accelerating from a stop. It’s done it once before a week or so ago, sounded like something metal tumbling around. But makes no noise even accelerating 100% from dead stop. It’s only done it twice, when turning left from a dead stop.

I have a full exhaust including HFC’s, and it doesn’t appear to be coming from the diff. Almost sounds like it’s coming from front left wheel, or even worse the trans. I didn’t feel anything really shaking or vibrating through the shift ****, so I’m hoping it is a heat shield. Power steering fluid looks like it could be changed. Car currently has 68k miles.

Check the brake dust shields. The left one is probably touching the disc.
