Fluids
Just got car back from the dealer (oil change & free inspection). They are recommending Brake flush for $166 & Power steering flush for $186.
I have 40k miles on my car. Are these really necessary at this point? Are these prices way high? I don't have the ability to do it myself even though it is probably easy.
Advice?

I just looked throughout the manual & I can't find an interval chart. Am I blind?

No and yes, I would not think it is necessary with that low of mileage. That said, I'm glad the '08 I bought recently had these done at 44K miles, by previous owner. Yes, prices are high. I have the receipt for where mine was done. Harper Infiniti in Knoxville, TN. Brake flush was $107, power steering flush was $80. This was done July 2017

Do a brake flush as part of pad replacement and rotor turning
I traded in my 2012 G37S at 94444 miles and never had that done.
It is now the next owners problem

the prices ragnar posted are what you should expect to pay on average and re in line with dealership prices where I am. The quote on the brake flush is kind of high, but the PS flush is just a complete ripoff...the brake flush requires more work and potentially more fluid at least and should be done on a lift with the wheels off.... the PS steering flush takes about 15 minutes in a driveway and barely takes a quart of fluid, no special equipment required (unless you count a turkey baster) or disassembly of other components, you don't even have to jack up the car.,...both jobs can be done by any competent mechanic if you're limited on dealer options also try a Nissan dealership...they will probably do it for less.
Necessity for the PS flush is not likley at your mileage,
the Brake fluid is probably necessary at your mileage but may be dictated by time as well. ie. if yours is over 3 years old and it has never been changed you should probably do it.
