my car is only 69k and it's pretty disappointing. Also the car is producing another rattling noise from the heating core, which is different noise. Darn my car rattkes from front and rear. Time to get rid of it?
Lol I have the heater core noise too. Tried to do a backflush as suggested in the TSB, but the noise came back. End up just bypassing the heater core. I live in Socal so don't really need the heater.

I think the noise has to do with oil level.

I changed my oil couple days ago, haven't heard the noise since. I've been hearing the noise consistently every single day before the oil change. I really doubt it's a coincidence.

Before the oil change my oil level was down to about quarter inch above the "L" mark. After oil change it's almost at the "H" mark.

For people that get the noise consistently, can you check your oil level and report back?

No the noise is exactly like the one in OP's video.

Anyways the noise came back today. However it's happening alot less since the oil change.

I think everybody just gave up on it. personally I am out warranty and cannot afford paying a dealer. and while it was under warranty last year they could never "reproduce" the noise couple of times I left it at the dealer.

I actually don't drive the car enough to be sure but I got under there and just tightened every bolt and nut I could find, like literally everything, a couple were actually fairly loose. Sub frame bolts, ball joints, tie rod nuts, fender liners, intakes, sway bars, caliper bolts EVERYTHING. I haven't actually heard it since. Not saying this is the fix for anyone else but I'm confident it was one of the bolts I tightened since this was about a month ago now.

My guess is since many of us have this same issue while not noticing or having any drivibility issues, its really not in the forefront of anyone's mind.

Can anyone list anything that has changed
After these days
I think the problem can be 1.evap canister ........injectors is also possible..... 2.Exhaust pipe or steering shaft interference

Same issue here. 2011 G37x S with AT. Its been making the exact same noise as OP. Using premium gas and full synthetic. I have a year of extended warranty left so I gotta figure this out soon.

that's great that you have warranty left.take it to dealer and hopefully they can figure it out. seems like we have a identical car . would be nice if you could report back if you were able to trace down the source of this noise.

i read somewhere its the catalytic converters rattling inside? idk i have the same sound every now and then, my car is running perfect so its not a mechanical issue.

can this be escalated to infiniti corporate? i mean us on this forum is already a big group of people complaining. Should weall write infiniti and get this taken care of? who's in?
