Like BB said, they're using a torque stick, NOT a simple extension. Torque sticks are totally different.

i understand the torque wrench needs to be calibarated at time but how do you know it is time?

some folks says on a yearly basis but if you don't use it much on that year, how do you know when it is time or is there a way to check before getting it calibarated?

thanks.

I always haul my tires to the tire shop in the back of my truck, have them mounted, balanced, etc then haul them back home where only my torque wrench ever comes in contact w/ my wheels. I've had too many bad results from taking it to the shops where they just can't resist that air hammer resulting in dings and damage (and over torqued). And this is after I SPECIFICALLY state to please use hand tools on the wheels
