G37 back lights

G37 back lights

Is there a manual or anything that shows you how to take the back lights off...i wanna get mines tinted

Its simple, pull up on the plastic piece where the trunk latch is, undo the carpet clips around where the lights are, and unbolt 3 nuts on each light. Should be 8mm nuts.

I took the 3 screws off but i think its something else holding it up...2 lil ***** on the outter ends

after you take the 3 screws off, yes there is 2 pieces holding the light in.

You can either:
1. Grab the light and pull it straight back, mad hard.
2. From the inside, find the piece thats clipped in, put something against it like a small pipe or something, and hit the end of that lightly to pop the clip out.

Its not really that hard, its just clipped in there pretty good. I did the second one i wrote and it worked fine, much easier than pulling on that sucker for awhile.

Getting rear-ended doesnt work that well fyi. At this point, id be happy with a stock working tail light.
