Hey guys i need some help with something


i tried to reporgram my 2011 g37 journey to my car with a aftermarket nissian key, and it didnt program to the car and can be used to start the car with another aftermarket key that was given to me but the one that was given to me is broken and doesnt send out frequencys but the new one does, both are programed to the car but doesnt allow me to lock and unlock the car doors or open the trunk with aswell not allowing the car to start without plugging it in the switch below the steering wheel, but unsure what it could be so i think it might be the key less door entry antenna but unsure and need help. or could be one of the fuses but i checked every single one without any porblems with them but i could be mistaken but unsure, but when i did try to porgram it the car didnt receive the signal of the key and so i thought it might be the keyless door entry antenna but not really sure, i need help pleaseee!!!!

 

Talk to a dealership. My initial sense is that you're trying to steal a car, not to throw accusations out there (new account, first post) but I would be reluctant to give any type of advice like this online.

 

Sorry if i made it seem like im trying to steal it, i bought the car not too long ago around 2-3 weeks back and it was very beat up and just trying to fix it up to either keep or sell, and already talked to a locksmith who's been programing keys for the past 10 years and they said the car wasnt receiving the signal of the new ke y that i bought since the hardware of the old key was dropped in water and just trying to make sure that it could be the antenna smart key receiver, id be glad if you helped me out if possible, thanks

 

I didnt mean to make it looks like as if im stealing the car, i bought the car not too long ago around 2-3 weeks ago and just been repairing since the last owner basically destroyed it and deciding whether to keep it or sell it, and so my porblem with the key came up since the last key that the owner had its internal components broken with rust and water and the key had no signal so i bought another key and had a locksmith of 10+ years of experience try to program it and he told me the the car wasnt receiving the signal so i either thought it was the antenna or the module for the key but i wasnt sure and needed to be sure which of it it was if i was going to buy the part, but if you could help me out with this ill be thankful, thanks
