Wheel fitment/mounting issue help?
Just because a wheel has more offset does not mean it needs longer wheel studs. The offset has nothing to do with how far the lug studs stick through, unless you are using spacers to make them stick out more. Factory wheels on my Lancer are 18x7 with a 46 offset. Wheels on the car now are 18x8 with a 35 offset. They stick out considerably more than the factory wheels, almost a full inch, but the lug stud protrusion didn't change any.
Looks like your lug nuts are the problem. According to the image above looks like the lug Is to big and not seating all the way .If the lug is stopping where all that scraping is at the lug, I can see how it may only be catching about three treads or turns should i say.the lugs should be able to seat all the way in and only use the base to aligned the wheel properly .(those do look oem are you sure they are tuner style,they should look a lot skinnier?).
