Makes me nostalgic for the annual forum meetups we were doing for a while there. Almost felt like it had more momentum. But it's a lot of work.

That was 2014 through 2017. Feels like a lifetime ago now.

Bummed I missed out on those, was juggling full time job plus school at the time. Those looked like some great hangs, suppose that ship has sailed :/

Yeah, car meets around here aren't a thing anymore. Cars and Coffee is A. way too early on a weekend B. 45 minutes away and C. mostly Maseratis and modded mustangs.

There's a Z club here but they meet rarely. We've all grown up and have stuff to do.

I got very lucky this year, our local Cars and Coffee outgrew it's old location and moved to the race track ten minutes from my house. The crowd is still similar tens and tens of Mustangs and Camaros but there is a healthy variety so I make a point to get up early once a month to check it out.

Finally had my first real track day this week. I had a blast and can't wait to do a road course again. Just a little teaser, I'll have a full write up in my build thread soon.

EDIT: Here is the write up. https://www.myg37.com/forums/build-t...ml#post4315938

Set up in the garage and ready to go.

Wash, iron remover, clay bar, 3 stage cut and polish, double coat of Avalon King ceramic coating. Showroom floor mirror polish. Not bad for a ln 11 year old black car. In my typical fashion, here's a poorly lit underground parking photo.

@hexotic Looks great, crazy timing that we share photos of nearly the same angle just minutes apart.

Mine is an optical illusion, the garage lights made it look nice, but my car was already filthy from pollen and being on track. I guess that's the main benefit of silver paint.

Oil change, battery replacement, and gas pedal replacement. My car seems to be down on power and mpg is also slowly decreasing. I read in a thread that someone's gas pedal failed with similar issues so, I picked up on from ebay and swapped it out in about 10 minutes. I can't say that fixed the problem....

Changed out my Intake Filters, Wix 49362 with about 10k Miles to Mahle LX3070. Compared to the Old Used Filter I am 50-60% less restrictive!

Impressive, but how did you measure the airflow through the two filters?

I installed hose barbs on my intake to measure with my monometer. This is just pressure difference between the front and back side of the filter. Lower restriction the more power. How much power from less restriction probably not much but it something.
