Spot on. Thanks, Z.

It's a two-piece unit, with that recessed section designed for the big, flat NISMO tower brace. The Cusco FSTB fits that section well enough, too. I question how well the GT-Spec would fit... it spans the engine in a different fitment, and might look out-of-place.

Still, it's a curious option, and props to Sticker Boy on a creative engine cover project.

The nismo cover is the same as the regular Z. Just red.

This engine bay makes an absolutely stunning first impression. However, the more I look at it, the less enchanted I feel. All the logos, decals and badges, and all the red bits that are red for no reason other than whimsy... on second impression it's just overkill. Although that Tommy Kaira does look pretty excellent on the engine cover.

I'd take that engine bay with all those parts any day of the week. Crazy thing thing about a sticker is....you can remove it. Can't really find those Jap parts anymore unless its for a pretty penny.

At least they're in the engine bay, and not plastered all over his car. Given the (unsponsored) choice between one or the other, this is the right one, IMO.

Like I said, first impression is stunning. Just that sometimes the devil is in the details when there are too many unnecessary details.

Would be awesome if you could find that cover with an Infiniti emblem instead of the Nissan badge. Even though the VQ37VHR is a Nissan engine (and the G37 is a Nissan), I'd like some uniformity throughout the car. (Even if it's just in the engine bay)

I actually prefer the OEM Infiniti engine cover with the exception that the NISMO one allows for their kickass 3-point FSTB.
Now if I could mount one of those bad boys, then I'd be interested.

The problem with the NISMO FSTB is that we'd need custom brackets for the mounting points towards the windshield. Seems like a lot of work, but hey, anything is possible if you're willing to shell out for it. Would definitely be a unique setup.

Exactly. It won't fit w/o some serious modding.
And if the rear-center mounting point isn't a load bearing member it isn't worth the effort...or the cracked windshield.

The regular Z cover is about $133 (it's $66 for each half) but for the red Nismo it shoots up to almost $270. I Do like the recess in the middle to allow for better FTSB clearance. Here's the Part #s for those that may be interested~
Regular Z~140411EA1A & 140411EA1B
Nismo~ A40411A30A & A40411A30B

The rarity of them is ridiculous bc there were only so many made and whenever they do pop up for sale the price is ... lol

Debadged G37x, dipped the emblems and the lower rear bumper. Really like the way it came out. Cant wait for the springs to get rid of the wheel gap. Any thoughts on painting the chrome spoiler?
