Performed TSB ITB13-008 to take care of this loud axle click that was really bothering me. Cost me the price of a 32mm socket and some anti-seize, and it worked perfectly and immediately. Very relieved.
Also cleaned the throttle bodies. Tbh, hard to notice any difference like some have said but it makes me feel better anyways. And there was definitely some build-up.
Motul 75w90 gear oil was delivered this weekend so I'll be doing the differential flush next weekend
Today... replaced the vinyl on the armrest with leather.
This is for the Stone Leather interior, where the vinyl trim (boot, armrest, doors) is this taup color. You guys with basic black leather, you've got it easy.
How easy/hard was the install? My armrest needs some padding around the release button and it might be a good time to change it to leather at that same time.

What does the ITB13-008 TSB entail? Can't seem to find the info.

*edit* NM, I found it.
It took me 30-45 minutes to do the rear axle; my axle was clicking almost every time I accelerated from a stop or a coast, so it was worth it.

I might do this purely to stop the squeak when my arm is on the armrest. Another irritating noise. Looks great, too.

Mine squeaks too, and has for as long as I can remember. That's interesting that yours squeaks, being a different lid than the 6MT armrest. Makes me think the squeak is in the latch, but IDK really.
Does it bother me? Well, yeah, sure it does. Just not enough to try and resolve it. If you figure out the fix, please let me know.

Super easy! I dropped the lid off at the upholsterer at 10:00 Saturday morning, and picked it back up a few hours later. Steamed, stretched, trimmed, stapled & glued, with an added 1/8" layer of padding over the original. $75 well spent, IMO.
