The technique I've used a number of times now is this:
  1. Clean the surface dirt off the leather with 403.
  2. Strongly massage the Leatherique Conditioner into the leather.
  3. Let it bake in the sun on a hot day.
  4. Wipe down the leather with the Leatherique Cleaner.

Works great for me.

I haven't done it this year yet, because I'm all out of product.

I remember when I first started researching products, I found some website that said treating leather in today's cars is essentially useless because the "dyes" are like a plastic coating and the conditioner won't actually get into the leather. Having no actual experience, it sounds logical but I tried anyways.
I wonder if it works better because of the lighter color of your seats vs my black. More permeable surface?
Has anyone with black seats had good results with leatherique?

Modern leather conditioners actually have a small amount of sulfuric acid in them that helps them penetrate the surface of the leather.

I only know because the skin on my fingers got burned by some of the acid when I was doing work at a plant that makes leather conditioner. That was 20 years ago and my fingers still just randomly peel/shed their skin a couple times a year!

In spite of my better judgment (and the decreasing thickness of my wallet), I installed OEM wood trim in my G37x, replacing the washi aluminum trim. I found the parts at a semi-reasonable price from discountinfinitiparts.com (highly recommended, by the way) and decided to bite the bullet. I really like the look of the interior now, it's warmer and (IMO) a little classier looking.

Here's a few pics:

I also installed Llumar Air80 tint on my windows all the way around. It's barely noticeable visibly (I don't care to attract any attention from 5.0) but VERY noticeable in terms of how hot the interior gets on a sunny day when I'm parked outside.

That's it for mods for me (for now...)

with parts, shipping, and labor for the install (I wasn't comfortable with dismantling the dash/doors for DIY), north of 2 large

it was a needless but fulfilling way to spend some of my hefty unexpected tax return

Just got my show stand back from the polisher and assembled it. Now I'm all ready to show off my new suspension set-up at Spocom in July!

Installed my AliExpress wrapped wheel. Followed a DIY and it was actually very easy. Also had the scratched up trim hydrodipped black and sprayed with matte clear. Came out great and looks OEM to me. Matches the buttons well.

^ Everything looks great, Johnny. Especially that steering wheel trim! That looks brand new and you can't even tell that it was scratched up before. Great job!

Seeing the height and the bolt pattern and your statement... pretty sure I can figure out what this thing is.

Love to see a shot of you test-fitting it on your car.
