Are you going to buy another 4-pack to replace the lock-nuts? It wasn't until I installed the McGards that I realized how much one of these things is not like the other. That's when I gave in to the rationale that McGard uses a proprietary 8-sided spline-drive socket, and having McGards on the wheel was probably just as much a theft deterrent as having a lock nut.
I'll need a set of 4 anyway, as I've found that two of my studs are in a bad way and need to be replaced. I can thank the first shop that installed my BBK for that. They've lost my spanner wrenches, rounded off a few of my original lugs due to over-tightening, and stripped two studs. I remember my new mechanic mentioning something about it, but I didn't think it was as bad as I've found it to be. There's no way that I can switch to my winter set without replacing the studs, and now two newly installed and damaged lugs.
New lugs!! Thanks to everyone who responded to my query. I ended up going with the McGard's. I'll have install pics after I clean her up a bit, providing that today isn't a complete washout.
I have the same lugs, finish perfectly match my formula silver Volks. Going on 6 years and still in great shape.
There's no "pop" to those lug nuts, but that's the point. Rather than adding to the look, you're complimenting it in a subtle way. The McGards are a design that you need to get closer to in order to appreciate.
Finally, finally, FINALLY had my steering wheel skin installed so I don't have to look at that eye sore of leather wear. Wanted to do red and white stitching but, didn't want it to look to busy so went with all white and very happy with the outcome!
Before you can see all the wear on the left side almost 30% of the steering wheel and it felt terrible too.

I think it looks great Mkhlmnn! Did you install it yourself, and where did you buy it from?

^ I got on the throttle too early and then failed to countersteer
Did you close abruptly or ease off the throttle after realizing there was too much? If the former, I wonder if the sudden weight shift caused the loss of traction.
On a bike this would of been a low side and some broken bits.
I recently purchased a Raceseng Slammer ****, but I didn't like how it just sat on top of the boot:
I always liked how the ***** look on BRZ/FR-S' with their reverse lockout collar:
So, I was wondering if I could make a reverse lockout from a BRZ/FR-S work on our cars. Turns out you can and it's real easy to do:
And there's a lot of adjust-ability. I can move the whole lockout up or down the shifter and I can also thread the **** lower or higher in relation to the lockout:
And in case you were wondering, reverse is still engaged the same way by pushing down on the ****.

Wow! I love the way that looks! Wish my G were manual... Good stuff!!
