BTW, the custom exhaust guy said he'd do the job if I find stainless elbows, and accept the fact non-tig welding would rust unless painted. I'm going to do it.

Reason: Typos
So no one has any thoughts on this exhaust? No one has tried it?
Stillen uses all Magnaflow components for their exhaust. This looks identical to the stillen setup with the exception to utilizing an X pipe. Given it's using quality components, X pipe, and a reasonable price. I think it's the better exhaust in its price range against the competitors in that bracket.
Sleeves and clamps, instead of bolts, gaskets and flanges. And a computer generated image, instead of actual photos, even on their own website.
And if you're having a difficult time finding reviews... Danger, Will Robinson.
My old Buschur Racing 3" exhaust on my GVR4 had sleeves and clamps. Less weight and easier to make sure it is aligned. I was more worried about the sound level but I would think it would have the best flow for a cat-back system.
Harbor Freight- $99! Organization is the key to success... The flange on the left rail of the jig is one of two that came from the Invidia x-pipe. I'm going to put them between the forward part of the x-pipe and the rear of the cut off Megan y-pipe. I want to make the system installable in two pieces. Getting close. Two more cuts and I'm ready to weld!

No flex pipes? That would help with getting it aligned while you're installing the exhaust if anything happens to be off. Looking good though!

While that's true, a flex pipe gives you a little fitment slack, there's something you should be aware of while you wait in queue for your new Fast Intentions exhaust...

...FI doesn't use a flex-pipe.
I'd say if you're going the "DIY" route, he'd benefit much more from the flex pipe.
My ETA for the FI exhaust is April 14, 2017... Not too bad
