I wouldn't spent any $$ on just sound I would look in the classifieds for a used CB,
Why stay away from ARK? Mine with Z1 HFC's isn't loud, at least cruising or idle, WOT is a different story but isnt that when you want it louder

Loud is a relative term I guess. my ARK w/FI HFCs was loud AF if u ask me

 

I just called a muffler shop by my house. He said he would do my muffler delete for $90.00. How much are you getting charged?
