Those are nice on that car. The rear looks odd, kind of jacked up.

You've won me over with this car, Tony.

Thanks. I've been told by many on the SS side that a drop is in order. I agree the gap is too much but I'm hesitant to mess with the magnetic ride control. A 295 will not make much of a difference. So I'm kind of stuck.

New springs? Not sure what coil overs do.

That's right... it's my (super under-informed) understanding you would have to go with lowering springs, or ditch the magnetic shocks for coilovers. Are you active in Chevy SS Forum? I just took a quick glance, and there seems to be lots of opportunity for information over there.

My suspicion is that the lion's share of aftermarket parts for that car are out of Australia. So... you got that to look forward to.

Switched out the 285's for 295's. This looks soooo much better.

That's a good look, man. She's looking less and less like a Malibu! I poke fun because I'm jealous that I can't beat you off the line.

Nice man! I didn't really know about this car until I started working at GM (bought the G just a couple months before I got the offer, ha) and a small part of me definitely wants one. It'd be doable, but more than I want to spend even after the discounts I get. I'm just hoping we do another generation or something similar.

There will be a 2017 model. Lots of articles in the last couple of weeks with rumors that they are going to do a LS3 with a supercharger for the last year. If that's the case i'll trade mine in...

Yeah I've seen those rumors as well. I can't confirm or deny anything, but get your papers ready...

Just kidding, I work in IT and am far, far away from Detroit/Warren so I have no idea. I do try to see if any new model codes or anything have slipped into the apps I work on, but nothing yet haha. I hope we do the LS3 though, that would be awesome.

They all have LS3's now. The supercharger is the hoped upgrade. If you go into your ordering system, you should be able to see the color codes they will offer for next year. They took a few away and added a few. Adding a Gray and a burnt orange.

Tony, I was just playing around with image editing... have you considered painting one or both of the chrome trim rings on the front bumper in gloss black? At least that big circle of chrome trim on the lower front bumper. It looks so much better (IMO) in black on black.
