AFS System - HELP!!!!

I'm wondering if my G37 is equipped with Adaptive Headlights, is there a switch in the car to turn them on or off? I'm not sure if my model has them. 2010 Infiniti G37X Journey model.

No it does not have them, unless you see your lights moving in unison with your steering wheel. The option was deleted on G37's built on or after 3/2010.

EDIT: Why the exclamation marks? lol

Since you have a 2010 model it may have been built before 3/10. There is a switch. It's on the left down by your knee, beside the VDC off and trunk release switches. If you have AFS there's an AFS on/off switch there. No switch = you don't have AFS.

I bought a repairable vehicle, it didn't have headlights/bumper/fenders, so I had very little way of knowing whether it had adaptive headlights. Kinda throw out the option of driving up to a wall and testing the lights. I also got little to no help from the Infiniti dealerships on whether I had them or not. Suppose they wanted me to bring the car in and pay to hook it up.....
Thanks for the help- I have a VDC, trunk, and blank switch by the steering wheel. Also ran parts inquiry on a separate vehicle VIN without the adaptive headlights and the headlights chosen were non-adaptive.

No, you do not. The car would have adaptive cruise control as well which you do not.

And in order to get tech pack, you would need navigation. If the car doesnt have a navi then you FOR SURE dont have tech pack.

Very few Gs had tech pack.

Thank you thank you. I'm also without navigation. I was able to narrow down the Journey package from the dealership. The forums are more help than the 'experts'! makes you wonder who the real experts are.....
