Hello,

Just purchased a 2012 G37x last night and joined the site. Love the car except for the mediocre Bose audio system. I've owned 4 Maximas and 2 Corvettes with Bose systems in the past and they all sucked. I replaced systems in all but 1. Any advice or suggested upgrades?

Welcome. DLS components are great.

 

i added a powered sub in a sealed box, played with my iPod EQ and bass/treble settings on HU, and its a massive improvement.

good enough that i don't feel like tearing it all out.

Me too!!! But I'm no audiophile for sure.


While the cars come with Bose, I believe that are different packages for different Bose set-ups. Like Premium and Tech pckgs vs. Base.
