Re: Fiero - I saw one of those at the beach last week. Really nice condition too. Didn't get a chance to talk to the owner, but saw him enough that he must have been staying on the island too.
Engine swap cool points: the 1988-1999 Mazda MPV transmissions bolt directly to a rotary engine. So you could have a 5-speed 4x4 13BREW minivan...
Word on the street is that a tuner made a custom 3.5" downpipe with a motordyne and managed to get a NA car over 400rwhp. Probably other mods too of course. There isn't a ton of info yet but that would be cool....
Also have some other juicy details on stuff coming out but I'll wait.
Might have had to use aftermarket 350HR cams as well? I would also guess it had to have lightened flywheel, cf driveshaft, 2 piece rotors, lightweight wheels to free up as much energy as possible.

IDK yet. They released a dyno sheet with 410whp but didn't give any details. I reached out to them, they are only 5 hours from me.
So my Chinese CF ebay grill that I got for free I finally finished. It had no supports at all so the fins were droopy. Still not perfect but I'll show the before and after:

There's a 350z in Sfl with full bolt ons, E85 3.7 block and some cams that made 401whp.
The HR is an under dog. Having an exhaust VTC will do wonders when you have big lift already.
If the VHR had individual VTCs for each cam it would unlock Jesus with some exhaust cams.
Many in the racing world are starting to mess with small % of Nitromethane getting to 1/3 -2/3 of their all motor power.
Truly exciting times however unsure how the drop of ECUTEK E85 support will affect these folks.
Turned this baby on after a 3 month hiatus where it served as a mock up. I posted a video on my page trying to replicate the "revving of engine while you yell the engine code" trend video.
There was a guy that made a funny response trying to be part of the group by accelerating the engine by hand but he had a electronic throttle so it did not. That motivated me to make the video, I tried to hit rev limit but if you see the video it's pretty it was pretty dangerous. Shook the whole cart
what does your test engine spin? Flywheel only, or a trans?
Buddy machinist had a Jag V12 on a stand that spun a geared-down pencil sharpener. He took that to all sorts of engine-builder (like hit-and-miss, old-timey engines) machinist shows.

Doesn't spin anything, just a 4lb flex plate. Revs insanely quick.

Just followed you - you'll see a message from me if you want to follow back. Not much car stuff though - most of my insta friends are family friends and we follow each other's kids LOL
