NEW PSS seems marginally quieter compared to the stock re050a's on asphalt. Haven't driven the car on a concrete interstate yet. That will be will be the real tell. Bridgestones were superloud on that surface.

The S-04s ended up being the best overall price of the options I was considering in the ~$200 summer tire category, and the highest rated on nearly every online retailer. I think I'm going to be very happy with them.
I thought about the Extremecontact DWs but they were about $100 more for a set of four even after the rebate.

Curious what the going price is for the PSS that I use in the rear, at 275/35ZR19... I just looked up pricing at Tire Rack. They're asking $337 each.

Damn, almost $700 bucks for two tires. But you'll get about 4 Summers out of those Rochester? That's not a bad investment when looked at it that way since you have dedicated winters.
When i switch to 245/45/18s it will be 235.75 a tire for me. I'll do the two in the back first, then when i go for the next pair i'll switch the back to the front and put the new ones on the back....

If the last two years are any indication, that's 3 years life for the rears, and likely 4 years for the fronts, driving appoximately 4-5k miles per year.
Honestly, I think all you can realistically expect out of high performing summer tires is 15k.

A 2 second google search of the text lead me to that page as well. Is it me or does their engraving look pretty bad for the price they are asking?
Why would you put a shift pattern on the ****? It's already screen printed on the aluminum trim. But even if it weren't, it's not like you don't know where the gears are.
On top of that, insuring the **** is secured in a way that has the shift pattern in perfect alignment... that's got to be tough.
I wouldn't bother with engraving, unless is some logo or symbol that means something to you personally. And even then, nah.
