Believe it or not this was taken with a galaxy s5 and google photos enhanced to try and show it how I see them. They were powdered coated by www.powder-coated.com
On car they look like the typical brembo red you see on srt8's.
John, the price was not for removal or reinstall. I had to do that part myself which is pretty easy...unless you drain all the brake fluid and get air in the system like me
My bad yes I see they were powdercoated, somehow I left that part out of the loop, yeah I wish my calipers looked the same in pictures as they do in person! That color looks great at least in pictures, looks almost like candy red!
Yeah mine came out to be $250 with removal and install and then additional $75(just the cost of stripping the bad ones and cost of powder) to redo my original calipers without removal and install of the ones that came out bad... Can't complain
OK so I installed some StopTech brake pads on the wife's journey today, bleed the system and then bedded the pads. Problem I'm having is they squeak pretty good when coming to a stop. And yes I lubed the shims....anyone else have this problem or may have any recommendations??
sorry...yes I used some silicone brake grease on all moving parts, back of pads/shims....bedded properly...still squeaked afterwards.....not sure what it is...but drove me nuts all night thinking about it

Yes it is!!! 1st time using it and fell in love with it. Very simple to use and made the job 1000% easier and quicker. Def a great investment IMO

Rebedding them is probably the easiest potential solution without pulling things apart.
Yes it was the front axel and sounded like from the drivers side for sure and poss the pass. I talked to my wife a bit ago, she said she didnt hear anything this morning. So I'll check again when she gets home as mine and her hearing are a bit diff when it comes to cars
Worse case is I may try to bed them again to see if that helps as thats the easiest option, otherwise I'll just take everything off the fronts and re set everything. Good thing about the non sport is they are a BREEZE to open up. Takes me longer to take the wheel off then it does to change the pads. Thanks
When I bedded the new pads and rotors I had smoke everywhere. It almost felt like it would catch on fire. Kept going while it was smoking to make sure I got that "glaze" on the rotor. My clothes and everything smelt like burnt brake pads.
