I saved about 3lbs up front and 4 out back. Car feels entirely different. You should notice a difference.

You mentioned they were lighter than the ones you had, what was your weight savings? I know when I went to the forged wheels the car really changed. I'm getting ready to go 3 lbs lighter on each corner and am wondering if there will be a noticeable difference.

Does anyone have a recommendation on a booster seat? The infiniti snug kids guide is kind of outdated. It looks like most anything Britax fits.
As an added complication, a booster seat that starts with 20 pounds instead of 30 would be great, as my 3 1/2 year old weighs in at 22 pounds.
Trying not to have to drop $700+ on 3 convertible seats

I remember when I went from stock 28 pound wheels to 18 pound wheels on my old stang. It was a night and day difference in terms of handling and acceleration. This number is most likely off but if felt like I gained 30 pounds of torque from just changing the wheels out. Unsprung weight makes a bigger difference than people think.

I'll be testing out the unsprung weight theory on the track soon. I switched to lighter wheels and tires.
Not sure what the OEM 18s weighted, but my new fronts are 16.5 lbs and my rears 17.6 lbs.
From the OEM Bridgestone to the Michelin PSS, i saved 3lbs up front and 2lbs in rear and I also went wider (245 and 275). So, more grip and significantly less weight.

10.5 pounds saved on each front corner
9.4 pounds saved on each rear corner
So appoximately 10 pounds per corner... yikes! I don't have any personal experience with lightweight wheels, but there is overwhelming testimonial evidence that 10 lbs per corner is a game changer. You should have noticed the difference right away.
Going with lightweight wheels is something that's tentative on my long-term list of mods. For now, I'm digging my Vossens because they're beautiful, and wide. But someday. Maybe.

I haven't been able to push my car or accelerate it that hard since installing the wheels and tires. In fact, I have only driven less than 150 miles on them. Remember that my RHFC also recently broke.
On January, I will be using the car more with the MXP resonated test pipes and the NST pulleys. 1/4 mile drags and maybe a Z/G meet, if possible.

So yesterday I noticed a weird difference in sound of my exhaust and could tell right away that there is a leak, and this morning I got an SES light, and I had it up on a lift and found the leak, I just find it a bit fishy, that all this time since I installed the Berk HFCs it's been fine, and now a week later after I got the car back from the dealer, there is a leak...

It also means that next Spring's catback install will be a piece of cake.
