His front is lower than my front, and his rear is a bit higher than my rear. And these are both 6MT RWD sedans we compared.

This is true. It was kind of odd, and totally unexpected. The Swift drop on the 6MT Sedan is *not* even, no one is denying that. However it's less uneven than the drop on Eibach springs... based on comparing our two cars this past September. Keep in mind, "uneven" as interpreted by gap from tire to fender, not by actual height of the car.

There's a lot of confusion on springs with these cars, and I believe it has to do with the differences between RWD and AWD. It seems the Swift springs for the AWD G-Sedan provide an absolutely perfect drop (as measured by fender gap). The RWD setups, not so much.

Repeating my sentiments on the matter, I think about this from time to time, but not so that I lose sleep over it, or get upset. And while I'll likely get CO's sometime in the future, it's equally likely that I'll have my mechanic customize and install those ES bushings in the rear, to lift the rear 1/2". No higher, though... because poke.

I've been meaning to test that out by lifting the entire rear 1/2" with the floor jack. And honestly, if only a half-inch lift eases the rear camber so the rims poke noticeably, then I'm simply not going to do it. I'd rather have a saggy bottom than wheels sticking out like a Flintstone car. Every now and then I look at pics from those few weeks where I had the Vossens without the drop, and it looks ridiculous to me.

Compromises, baby.

I must be out of the loop....what are the ES bushings?

I'm with you in not losing sleep over it. The F/R gap is uneven on the OE springs too.

well my Eibach on my 7at RWD is perfect stance. Front is lower than rear, I hardly ever hear any complaints about Eibach being lower in the rear than front....you ALMOST always hear somthing with Swift. But doesnt really matter either way about either spring at this point since its already on his car.

In that picture it still seems to me that the eibach is lower in the rear but nothing compared to the swifts uneven gap.

Over here on G35Driver.com:

My 09 G37xS (AWD) Lowered on Tanabe - Droopy Bum fix too!(PICS) - G35Driver

Coil mount bushings from Energy Suspension, customized to fit. Pretty clever idea, IMO. In fact, now that we're talking about it, I think I'm going to print out a few pages of that thread, for posterity (no pun).

its just a bigger tire (295) in the rear so its about as close to the fender as you can go

If I would've been to do it all over again, my choice would be either H&R or Tein S-techs for springs, but I am no longer modding my car, bigger and better things are to come

Tried to warn you...

Any recommendations on where to buy Michelin PSS? I called tire discounters and they want 2100 for the tires alone.

GetYourWheels.com: Wheel and Tire Packages|Staggered Wheels|Custom Wheels|Luxury Rims

$369 for 275/35ZR19 PSS. Seems about right.

Discount Tire Direct, TireRack and Costco were all within $50 for OE sized PSS. Keep your eye out for the $70 prepaid visa they sometimes offer.

That being said, having had both PSS and Potenza S04s, I'd pocket the savings and get the Bridgestones. Unless you're tracking the car, you'll never notice the slight performance advantage of the PSS, and the S04s are better in the wet. Flame suit on
