I've been thinking about getting a remote starter for the past couple of weeks, especially with the temperatures hanging around the mid 20s, but I'm kind of worried about what Mike said. I don't want my turn signals to come on every time I brake or even worse... Miley Cyrus to come on the radio every time I make a left turn. I remember on the Optima forums it was a huge discussion that it was nearly impossible at the time to have a remote starter installed on a vehicle with push button start, and for those who were able to do it it was a difficult install. I'd like to do it, and still may do it, but only if it can be tied into our oem remotes or if I could get one of these programmed to our cars to work.
there used to be a module that let your OEM fob start your car when you hit the lock button x3 times but I believe they discontinued it. now you have to buy the remote and the bypass
I have a Clifford 7856x 2 way remote with the dball2

That's not right.I've always used OEM batteries, and proactively replace them at 5 year intervals, which means once per ownership.
I believe Nissan batteries are made by INTERSTATE. Or they used to be.
If it were me, I'd want to make sure the new battery looked good in the engine bay.
I had Optima batteries when I installed upgraded the sound systems in my cars. They are great batteries, but in the winter they aren't good because the gel in them freezes. I used to have one installed as a secondary in the trunk in my last build.
We all have our senior moments...

It literally took the guy from auto zone 30 minutes to figure out how to change the battery. He was trying to figure out change it without taking the cowl off, which I don't think can be done. Nonetheless the old battery was almost completely dead and I now have a new one installed.

Have you ever looked at that area and wondered if one of those two bundles of wiring could be tucked around the fender side of the strut tower?
I've taken the cowl off to try to fix the cowl popping, or in my case cowl buzzing, but I'm not sure which wires you're referring to.
I'd get this battery right here:
AutoCraft Gold Battery, Group Size 35, 640 CCA 35-2: Order best Battery at Advance Auto Parts
And I'd use this coupon code to buy it online, and pickup in store:
WD47 - Save $50 off item $125 or more (good through tomorrow)
and if that didn't work, I'd use this code
MISSUM43 - Save 35% off purchase (good through Monday)
EDIT:
I didn't verify that either code was allowed for use on batteries. I figure they are, but do your own due diligence.
