Maybe one day.
If you're not certain on the looks just wait till the next meet up and look at Johns, since he has the aluminum trim, and see how you like it then.

Tell me you're joking.

My titanium shift **** doesn't match perfectly, either. But the shifter, HVAC controls and dash trim are all in the same wheelhouse.

Perfection is the enemy of progress, Mike.

Yes, that's true. Just never got into that habit, for some reason.

I leave my settings on 70 and have the HVAC on auto as well as the auto recirculation and it actually warms up my car a lot quicker. It recirculates until the cabin reaches the optimum temp then switches back to fresh air.

Completely agree, I love the way they look.

NICE little easter egg feature there! I did not know about that. Thank you sir!

Question...what does the tech package have that it detects foul smells from the outside? I have everything but the tech package. I do like how the car manages the heat when it's cold outside. It doesn't blow air until it's warmed up, which is one of those small touches, but it's nice.

I'm not sure exactly what it uses but it basically detects certain chemicals in the air and shuts off the outside vents.

Anyone besides Rochester running the Hawkshead shorty valve stems?

One, maybe two, of my TPMS units crapped out so I had some time on my hands to cruise the interwebs. I'm thinking the shorty stem would look a bit nicer on my wheels. $48 for 4 doesn't seem bad.

Understand that they aren't shorties, per se. They're *adapters* with a shorter length stem. The OEM TPMS is still there in full, stem included. It's just on the inside, is all.

That said, I'd rather they were shorty stem pieces on the OEM TPMS. This whole adapter thing is clever, but based on having one fail, it seems kind of a sledgehammer solution to a more simple problem.

I gotcha. I'm thinking form over function in this instance I think...

Maybe I am joking a little, maybe a little not, but metal shift ***** are proven to shorten a shift time in winter and summer. Real short shifter.

I don't dig the carsmo *****.

They don't match with anything (trim) nor make any contrast with the rest of dashboard buttons, so therefore I like the OEM ***** better which flow better with the rest of the dashboard buttons.

Yup I don't dig em that's all. Each to his own, just because everyone else is doing it, doesn't mean I have to jump on the bandwagon. LOL

I like the stock ***** too. They have a good bit of tactile tackiness. I also like the way they taper.
However, the Carsmo ***** look better, and I really like the weight they provide. I got then for the weight primarily, then for looks (function over form)

Speaking of the free spinning ***** I was having the same issue as well after the temps dropped. Primarily with the upper two *****. I was going to try and fix them but noticed when I pulled them out just a centimeter or two they had grip again.

Perhaps having the ***** seated all the way down on the core is causing the free spinning issue?

If they ever free spin, I suggest giving a little tug on them and when they start to grip again you're good to go.

Different isn't always better.
For me, the OEM look is better and this is just lower quality.
