Thanks man.

there's no rasp really, more like hiss with HFCs than any rasp and that pretty much only when revving.

^ Sorry, but I heard the rasp the entire pull. I have driven a few VQs with HFC or ART pipes and they didn't have that sound.

I guess it's a matter of opinion on what one considers as "rasp" ,but to me and many others this is nowhere near rasp.
I could probably find many videos of what I really consider true rasp, but that's not the point, like I said, to each his own.

EDIT:

Ok Tony I'll give you that now after watching it few more times and paying close attention , there may be some rasp at the very start,
sounds like resonance but shortly after it goes away. There is a possible chance that there may be a leak somewhere, perhaps the bolts and nuts got loosened up.

I think I am just particular to the sound and notice it pretty easily, I also had my headphones pretty loud because I was listening to music and "working in the zone" so that may have exaggerated the sound. Plus the recording device always picks up sound differently than what is heard in person.

Like I said I could hear it the whole way through the first pull. Since I am quite particular about the sound it would bother me if I heard it while driving - when my ARK flex pipes disintegrated the hiss made me bonkers (maybe that's why I'm so sensitive now? lol). But, again, it could be that IRL right next to or in the car it might not be as noticeable.

Regardless I'm sure you enjoy the sound while so that's all that matters!

yeah I noticed that with my home theater system speakers kinda louder and bass level at the maximum I guess it quite exaggerated the sound... and I was gonna mention that too, the recording device probably picked up the sound differently that what it is in reality.

Perhaps, that may be one reason why you're so sensitive to the sound now, but honestly IRL next to or in the car, it's not noticeable at all, regardless of the fact I'll still check for any leaks !

I certainly do enjoy it A LOT while driving, but honestly, hearing it what it actually sounds like on the outside to everyone else, just pure awesomeness, as you don't get to hear it the same way from driver's seat and from a by stander's point of view or hearing LOL

Definitely seeing and hearing your own car drive is quite awesome. As long as you can trust the person driving that is hah

Yeah man, of course I trust that person, being my older brother who's the reason I got into cars in the first place and who's always been helpful with tips and answers to any of my questions, wonderings and mechanical work whenever I need something done or fixed. He actually talked me into getting STH which I will, and he offered to install them, so that makes it actually worth getting them, considering I'll be skipping the cost of $400-500 for install

That was an excellent pull, Mike. Nicely done. Drove it like you stole it.

Do you already know which STH you are going to install?

I'm thinking Stillen, but not sure if I want to pay that much for a set of headers that might work as well as a cheaper brand (Megan or AMS motorsports).

Nooo, not quite sure yet... how about those DC headers that you posted in my thread, I haven't had time to research them therefore I don't even have a clue how much they are. I'm not gonna buy the most expensive either that's for sure, I'm guessing AMS or DC.
