Sedan Chat Thread
The couple of loaner Q50s I've had have all had issues where the InTouch system would completely freeze rendering it useless, I'm not a fan of it and that's one of the biggest factors for not wanting to upgrade (downgrade?) to a Q50.
^good point on pricing, rumor mill is 2.0 (gas or diesel), s/c 3.0 V6 (S4, 335), and s/c 5.0 V8 (m3, rs4), so sticker will probably reflect its targeted competition
Honestly, have no idea where I will be mindset-wise when I'm ready to replace the G, might even have a family by then go the Nissan Quest route
For the future wife that is

Guess you haven't driven one, then.
I drove an F-Type S Coupe this summer, and it made my G feel cheap and slow. The mid-range model S, supercharged V6, puts out 380 hp, and is rated at 4.8 sec 0-60 mph. I could think of a number of clever phrases that describe performance like that, but "slow as *****" sure isn't one of them. And as far as handling goes... OMG. Point and shoot precision that the G can't even touch. And as for styling... I always thought the lines of the G were sexy, but this Jaguar is a work of art. Simply gorgeous.
It took me two weeks before I could dig my G again. For a while there, I was slumming in my Infiniti.
Sadly, there's no manual transmission in the F-Type. Although I swear to god I didn't mind during my long test-drive. Still, I'm sure after a few months of ownership I'd have regrets not buying a sports coupe with a proper 6MT. Kind of hard to understand how people can be into driving high-performance cars with automatic transmissions, but if there were a car that could make me happy with an AT, it might be this Jag.
I suspect I'd say the same thing about any Aston Martin. The rare Aston sighting always leaves me breathless.

The Infiniti driver is dead and the Nissan driver is in jail facing murder charges.
1 dead, 1 arrested in possible Sunland street race

I don't understand why you are comparing the coupe when I was talking about the 4 door sedan which is close to our price range (lol@close being the 50k base model). Hell, even when you buy the supercharged v8 at 70k it's still not that fast (per Jaguar). Just saying. However, it's all a moot point anyway since none of them come with a true manual trans, right?
Have a look.

- Alfredo posted a pic of the beautiful F-Type Coupe.
- You commented immediately after without specifying model, so... Coupe.
- People can't read your mind to know what you are talking about unless, you know... you actually say it.

LOL.
True, but common sense goes a long way. To expound even further, we are in the G sedan chat thread where most of our interest is geared towards 4 door vehicles so I assumed you knew what I was referring to in my post. Had this been a different thread then maybe I would have specified.
And I didn't bring up winter plans... that was ChinkyChoy.

Save it for the track people.
