LOL, still can't decide whether to install the HFC's myself or have a shop do it.

Yeah, after all the horror stories of people having trouble with the exhaust x pipe to the cat bolts when installing the FI catback I can really say I didn't have a problem with it after spraying some liquid wrench on them. However, since I need more attachments to reach the hfc demon bolts I'm a bit hesitant.

Yes, and what fun is it taking it to a place and avoiding the chance for some gnarly looking bloody knuckles, chicks dig them

You're in Texas. The bolts probably arent corroded like some of the people in the northeast. Hit them with PB blaster and attack the with some good 6 point sockets.

If you get a breaker bar they will come off without much effort.

Doesn't take much to break them in. I've been losing traction lately, but it's also been below 50*F and wet.

Winter is almost here.. dammit. I've found myself really digging hard into the tires on turns and launch, because I know that soon it will be over.

Well, not for you two. But for me it will be.

The weather here over the past two days has been dreamy. 70+° crystal skies and a TON of bikinis on the beach! I couldn't decide which to drive today! Bikes or car, bikes or car! I chose Both. LOL car in the AM bike all afternoon and evening. But it's going to get nasty here soon. The Canadians will be here before long so the traffic will slow to a crawl.

So, I have a few buddies who think the G37 sedan is just a semi luxury car with no performance whatsoever. When I told them the specs and what it can do they were literately flabbergasted. One of them (13 sti driver) actually had the audacity to say me modding my car was like someone modding their minivan. I quickly reminded him that it would be a drivers race vs. him in the in the quarter and that I actually had an interior that was up to snuff while doing so. He agreed but still remained steadfast in his thoughts that the g37 was not a performance car.

Car guys? Really? They sound like punks with self-image issues. Are they equally unimpressed with the Nissan 370Z? Personally, I never dis a car that I don't know about, unless it's a hand-me-down economy car all tarted up into being something it's not. Fart cans and stupid spoilers and what-not.

IDK about the STI... I also have a buddy with a 2013 STI. I've driven it a few times, and I'm quite sure he has the edge. Not by much, though. And not a car I would ever want to own.
