As temperatures start to get high I have started to use the window roll down feature on the key fob a lot more. I used it on a Q50 I had as a loaner recently and noticed that it also opens the sunroof, but with my G it only opens the side windows. Does anyone's G open the sunroof too or is that just a Q feature?

must be just a Q feature although you could get a KP technologies module that could enable that feature as well as quite few other useful features , IMO at least.

Kind of what I figured. Its not a big enough deal to me to make me want to install the module. The fog light one on the other hand... Has anyone installed it and can comment on hoe easy/difficult of an install it is?

My wife got me the fog light module for Christmas, but I haven't had a chance to install it yet.
Got almost everything done yesterday except the Cobb post MAF tubes. My plans were delayed when my wife got up with the kids at 6:30 and told me to sleep in
It took me 45 minutes to get the stock exhaust off. Some of the bolts were on ridiculously tight. Couldn't get them to budge with my 1/2" drive socket, so I used a 6 point wrench and floor jack
MTEC shifter springs took over an hour to get on. There isn't much room to work on the side of the transmission, so you maybe get 1/8 of a turn in, then have to reposition the wrench to get another 1/8, constantly switching from open to box and flipping the wrench.
Transmission fluid was easy. I skipped using a pump and used a funnel with a long tube fished down through the engine bay.
Started the car, but had other stuff going on last night--and I had several beers over the course of the install
so I haven't had a chance to drive it yet. I'll have driving impressions and feedback on the MTEC springs later today.

Allows independent control of your fog lights.
Took my car on a little drive into SC to fill up with 93 and to try out my work from yesterday.
Shifter: With only 18,000 miles on my car, my transmission fluid was dirty--see picture of old and new. The gearbox is a lot smoother and less notchy. I've upgraded to synthetic fluid on every manual car I've owned and always thought the same thing--I should have done this sooner.
MTEC shifter springs. The springs were certainly stiffer than stock, but the difference is very, very slight. I would say side-to-side slop is reduced by somewhere in the 5-10% range. The shifter doesn't snap back into neutral. I only spent $40 on them, and I was in the area doing the exhaust and transmission fluid, but I wouldn't recommend them. Install was a pain, and I'd imagine that in the time it took me to install them, I could have installed a STS. If for some reason you have the transmission out of your car, then by all means go for it.
Exhaust: I think everyone knows the Invidia Q300 is one of the more quiet cat-back exhausts, and that is exactly what I wanted. I've had exhausts that set off car alarms, and I wasn't looking for that.
There is a nice growl at startup. A casual non-car type probably wouldn't even know the car had an exhaust. From idle to 4500 is a really nice growl, that is then drown out by intake and mechanical VQ noise until about 6500. From then to 7500 the exhaust takes on a much more aggressive tone.
My highly calibrated butt dyno says there is a little more power, and the TCS light is a lot more active. On one particularly hard 2-3 redline shift I got so much wheel spin that the TCS cut power. That doesn't usually happen as 2-3 is generally just a quick chirp. Clearly scientific evidence of increased power
The motor seems to be breathing easier, throttle blips for rev-matched downshifts don't require as much gas as before.
I'm a happy camper
Glad you're happy with the catback. Nice tips. Nice idea painting the cans, too. Looks like you need to touch-up that paint, though.
The intake flex-tube replacements... meh. Those look silly to me, and seem pointless. No offense.

Which brand gear oil did you use? And how many quarts of gear oil does our 6MT take?

But seriously, thanks man.

I believe that it allows you to turn your fog lights on at any time. I mainly want in so I can turn my fogs on with my parking lights. I think it's a cool look and the module only costs $49.99 so it's not too over priced. I'm unsure if you can have the fog lights on if all of the other lights are off.

Here is a link to Cobb's test of intakes on a G37, and I've attached a before/after dyno of a 370Z, stock v/s drop ins and post MAF tubes.

I'm at 18K, too. Truth is, I never even though of changing my gear oil, because the car has such low miles on it. On my last car, after 6 years I swapped the OEM gear oil in my Maxima 6MT for Redline MT-90. A year after that, I did it again with Redline MT-85, which I liked much more. At the time, MT-85 was new, and getting great reviews.

Yeah, not worth it....
