Haha, It definitely would look against your MW too, just like Alex from 180 had it on his MW 6MT, he had matte gunmetal housings + shroud (I believe) with orange eyelid, and it looked sick.

I'll get some daytime close-ups tomorrow

Thank you Chris! You definitely have some time to think about it till your upcoming trip up here and to OnEighty.

These are HID 5000k Morimoto 3Five Fogs, the LED technology has been catching up, but still the LED fog kits sold by VLEDs still don't put out as much light(lumens) as the HIDs do. Thank you sir!

Hats-off for a great upgrade
Yeah that's what I've been told and what I'm been realizing since I got them, they do change the whole look of the front end drastically. As you can see, Brad I decided to stick my with gut and my original idea of lambo orange, and then in the future get my BBK calipers painted lambo orange which will look sick matching the eyelid as well as I'll be getting my grille gloss black painted to match the headlights and a lambo orange outline on the gloss black face of the emblem.

ughh this never ends

No, no it never does...

I was looking at the V3s I think I'm definitely going to go that route. Most likely when I swap the grille out but I have some work yet to do on that. And still need winter tires and to finish the darn headliner project.

Hmm cool, way to go Chris, and what's happening to the grille? You mind spilling the beans?

I am looking to flush and fill my coolant, anyone know how many gallons will drain out? I see that the capacity of the coolant in the car is about 9 liters, so should i buy 2 gallons of distilled blue Nissan long life anti freeze? Thanks.

Stupid question time!

What effect does a tires outer diameter (od) have on vehicle height and tire:fender gap?

Working example:

OE sport front tire has an OD of 26.86"

Current front fender height is ~27.5"

A 235/45/18 has an OD of 26.33, or 0.53" shorter.

Am I correct that my car would sit 0.265 lower, and my tire:fender gap would increase by the same amount? Additionally, the 10mm wider tire would 'stick out' 5mm more, correct?

I'm just toying around with alternative sizes on stock wheels and want to make sure my hypothesis is correct.

One other thing to consider is that by changing the OD away from the OEM specs of the tire you will be throwing off the speedometer.

Larger tires will show you slower than you actually are, smaller tires will show you faster than you are. All of this can be fixed with a tune, but why go through with the headache?

Example: my F150 is jacked up and has 35" Nitto dune grapplers under it. My speedo was off by 7mph @ 65mph. In other words, I was showing 65 mph on my dash but was really really traveling @ 72mph. I had to get it recalibrated at a truck shop.

We offer an LED fog light replacement that produces 1,420 lumens, which is considerably brighter than your factory halogen bulb

These are perfect for fog lights, and a great alternative to HID

They can be found here on our site: 2009-2010 Infiniti G37 Sedan Fog Light LEDs (pair) - G37 Sedan - Infiniti - Bulbs By Vehicle - Lighting

They ship free if you send me a PM!

I'd love to hear your feedback on these. Everyone that has purchased the XML2 thus far has been amazed by the output from such a simple plug and play replacement

Are they plug and play or do you have to change anything out besides the bulb?

They are 100% plug and play LED bulb replacements, fully waterproof and self-contained.

No ballasts, no relays, no external drivers etc...

Half the people on this site are running setups that deviate from OE specs
