Hi all,

I have searched and searched for threads devoted to what options there are to change the lower grills of the X/Journey front bumper, but I can't seem to find anything on them. I am mostly wondering if anyone has ever attempted to paint these plastic pieces, I was considering painting them black to match my black paint, but I would love to see pictures if someone has attempted it before. I have attached a picture of my car for reference.

I added DRL lighting to mine, haven't really seen any other treatments for those pieces but I think a few have used mesh in that area w/ mixed results.

The images are a little dark, did you cut holes in the grills or are those lights attached in some other fashion?
