Non Linear responce by DBW system

Guys:

Have you noticed how when you press on the throttle, sometimes the car will kind of sag for a split second and then surge forward?

I suppose this is part of the DBW system but I don't like the way it works. I should mention this is my wife's car and I don't drive it enough to really get accustomed to the "feel" of the car.

Any on you experience the same thing? Have any of you tried to do anything to correct the lag/surge? Any software upgrades available?

Thanks

JR

all g's do this, nature of the beast. uprev tune can help a little or the sprint booster can help too. neither option eliminates the lag tho.

I have a 6 MT and no lag or surge whatsoever. This is not common to all G's must be a AT thing only. Accelerator feels very linear.

BB is right. I had an 07X and there was always a little bit of lag of the start. The 6MT doesn't have the same issue.
