"Groan" noise when pulling out of 1st gear on 6MT

So like the post says, I am hearing a slight "groan" when I pull out of 1st gear on my 6MT sedan. The car still has less than 1k miles and not sure if its part of the break in period, but this is my 4th G with a 6MT and I've never heard this noise before.

Has anyone experienced this issue before? I can only hear it when the radio volume is low, and only when I start from 1st gear from a dead stop. Almost sounds like its coming from my rear passenger-side wheel.

Sorry - haven't experienced this.

Maybe you have one of these?

Volnedan, can you dumb it down a bit.

How exactly does one reproduce this? I'm fairly in tune to most noises the car makes and made when new (still relatively new at only 8 months/4K miles). The only thing that comes to mind is a bit of a tingle in the shifter if you change gears at high rpm without first unloading (easing up on the throttle) the trans.

My latest noise has been a sort of engine whine between 2500-3K rpm regardless of gear. Happened mostly when ambient temps were 85F+. Test drove a few other 6mt's which also made this noise, so will wait until I put synthetic oil before deciding if I need to make a big deal out of it or not.

Is this your first with the 3.7? I have to admit, my G makes engine and drive train noises that I'm not familiar with. But I just chalk that up to being new to the car.

Oh, and it sounds like a freaking diesel until it warms up, so I'm not looking forward to winter.

Oh, and there's a creaking, rubbing bushing somewhere in the rear suspension that sounds like a bird trapped in my trunk. That one is driving me nuts lately.

Cars... gotta love 'em.

Maaaan that trunk monkey stole my credit card!

Thanks for the input you guys, but so far it seems like my only choice is to take it in to make sure nothing is rubbing/out of place. I know these cars make all kinds of weird noises, but better to be safe than sorry. Thankfully Infiniti always provides a service loaner, otherwise it would be a real PITA.
