Ran across the window sticker from my 2004 G35 Sport Sedan. I thought some may be interested. Sport Package was available standalone, no sunroof, Bose or premium package required.
What a great price for back in the day.
I remember my mom was shopping for a 3.5 V6 Altima at this time. My dad tried his hardest to convince her to spend a bit more for the G35. They ended up with a 2005 3.5 V6 Altima with the sport package. (My mom loved the way they looked) but the final price was also in the low 30's. If I remember correctly it was only a couple grand difference to the G35 sedan.
I think that speaks volumes of how great of of a deal the G35 was, completive pricing and at the time near enough to a 3 series to shake up the market.

Agree @FrogmanKouki , and if you could get one at invoice like I did it was a no brainer. These cars felt luxurious, but with a little bit of grit which was a by product of the focus on value/performance as opposed to refinement. Just look at the detail and pride that went into the window sticker. "Zero-lift front aerodynamics" (little rubber pieces in the front and back, just forward of the wheels). The people these cars were targeting at the time read every line of that sucker and found motivation to make the jump from BWM/Audi. I recall driving one for the first time thinking that there is no way this car is only 260hp as it felt extremely quick and light, almost like it wanted to be thrown into corners (alot lighter than our G37, which focused on the same things but with more refinement). The 5AT at the time was well matched to the powertrain. Also, I moved to and from TX when I owned it and averaged 32-33 mpg on the trips to and from the Lonestar state from CA (loaded with crap and a family), not 26 mpg as indicated on the window sticker. Yes, its a very flat drive once you clear the mountain in CA, but still like our G37s, that thing found it's groove around 78mph.
2006 Altima's were FWD beasts with real AT/MTs and enough torque steer to pull you into a ditch if you stabbed the throttle too hard. Maximas of that time were nice as well. That generation hit 200-300K miles with ease. I moved to the G35 from a FWD Saturn L300 (rebadged Opel Vectra), which was another torque steering beast and quit possibly one of the most underrated cars GM ever made. Always rooting for the underdog, that's me.
#goodolddays when Carlos Ghosn ran the show and shared the vision. We all know what happened once he escaped Japan in a piano case. RIP Nissan/Infiniti.

Didn't get much snow where I live so here's a photo from October! Thinking about getting Silver Neomax coilovers before summer but I already scrape my exhaust daily where I live so I'm really dreading that. New tune and 3" intakes coming whenever the weather warms up!
OMG. Looks like my car a year or two ago. When was that pic taken? Needs a myg37.com sticker on the rear corner window :-)
That pic of my car was taken about a year ago. Looking at your car, you have the 2010-up Sport bumper, mine still has the original 09 Sport bumper. But you’re right, they do look alike. Ha!

I’m a sucker for an old window sticker! Posted mine a few months ago, bought mine in 2013 for $36.7k. Back when 6mt models were sitting on dealers’ lots and pretty deep discounts were had.
So far for 2025, my car’s been in hibernation mode. Not shown, new CTEK trickle charger. Seems to be doing its job

Picked mine up for $1200 under invoice (34K?) back in 2013 when the new Qs were sitting on the lot and dealers wanted to rid themselves of the G. Believe it or not, the RWD Sport models didn't sell well because non car folks didn't see the value in the sport package (VLSD, close ratio steering, big brakes, why do I need to pay $1200 for that?). I hung out on forums like this one and only wanted a sport model (thanks Black Betty, Rochester was also influential). I passed up a clean CPO 2010 6MT Sport that they wanted to unload for 29K, but I figured for 5K more I could buy new. There were only 2-3 2013 6MT Sports in the entire state. Sport models were scarce, 6MTs were more scarce. I ended up with Platinum Silver because it was the 1 new sport model left in San Diego and I didn't feel like making the trek to LA to buy the Malbec Black Sport 7AT I really wanted. Turned out to be a great decision as the Platinum Silver is pretty timeless. I had no intentions at the time to own the car for over a decade.
Started shopping in 2012 for a CPO 2010-2011 6mt sedan, and everyone wanted $30k+ for them (had plenty of “we know what we have” kinda convos).
So I ended up going to a showroom with some research into invoice price, holdbacks, dealer incentives, etc and found that a brand new one ($44k MSRP) could be chiseled down to $36k.
To me, it was a no-brainer to buy new at that point. And I didn’t really have long-term ownership in mind at the time, but I am in 2025 unable to see a scenario where I sell the G. Even if I do get another car, the G is getting stashed somewhere

I planned for exactly 10 years and all the modifications along the way. But when I was done I couldn't move on because of the pandemic and working at home. There just wasn't a valid argument anymore to own two daily drivers, and the G became purely a hobby car. That's how I got here.

My current headspace is, if I come across a truly un-passable car for sale (I’ve got a bunch of alerts set up), I won’t hesitate to buy it and the G would get stashed at a family member’s garage.
i just couldn’t sell it. The 4-door RWD 6mt spec is too rare, I still love the car, and the marketplace would significantly undervalue it (my bias, of course).
It’s def impractical, but we’re entering the scaling phase of EVs. OEMs have to comply w aggressive emissions standards. A sportier stick-shift car is going to become more and more hard to find. Values will start to get even more ridiculous than they are now.
And I feel this way even tho I drive about once per month…
