If you've never been to an upholster before, network your area for what's available and bring them a seat to discuss restoration.

You're coming into the forum head first, Bull, with a heck of a project car and what seems like some experience. Glad to have you here.

How about starting a build thread for this AE?

120k Engine is solid, just didnt move. I plan on keeping this one for some time. I learned with my 05 the hard way with bolt ons and plan on going straight for tuning once she gathers some mileage.

I already hid some wiring in the bay and plan on dressing that part first as I'm changing gaskets and what not
Looks like a fun project you've got there. You're probably already on top of it, but I highly suggest you take a really close look at all of the RF suspension components. That RF tire looks like it was wearing really badly on the inside edge, so you may have some worn parts or a bent tie-rod from the accident. Just something to think about... Good luck with it!

Strongly Suggest you swap a new water pump along with the timing chains since you have the whole front end open up. Mine recintly went out and I'am at 170k so you got time but just a advance to take it out the way. I did the work all my self and a buddy just follow the DIY and you'll can save your self the cash.

I come from the old days of forum where they required a couple of posts before you could even post pics or people even took you serious. The truth is I've always followed forums for any car I've owned since I discovered forums in 2004. I'll be starting that thread soon.
On the mean time if any of you would like to check out my page what_wires@intagram. I do wiring on the side

I discovered LCA balljoint is toast, was able to find some newer arms to throw in, I found the G37 fountain of youth when it comes to parts here in S. FL. Check them out American Auto Export

Thank you for the suggestions, this will be something I'll wait on as the rest of the car needs more attention, I'm confident I wont have to do this until another couple of thousands in the future. Hopefully by then I'll have gathered everything I need.

Hah, I have the same wheels but they're +43 offset and I have 255 wide tires. I'm a bit lower than you so they look tucked more. Now I know what size spacers to get.

Originally bought the wheels for my STI back in the day and +22 was way too aggressive for that car. They're super light though which is why I kept them for my G.

New G37x Owner!

Just got my car about a month ago... still got a lot more to do to it. Lowering it on Monday! So far I’ve: Tinted windows, wrapped window trim, grill and spoiler lip and deleted resonator.

Here’s a shot I got on my break today. I plan to go a little lower once I pick up some camber kits.
