Ok, so I just got my car serviced at the dealer, and the day after I realize there is a small scratch in the leather on the driver's seat. It's pretty small, but I can totally feel it. I know they did it, cuz I conditioned the leather 3 days before I got the service and it wasn't there.
I called and left a message with my service guy, but I'm trying to figure out what would be a fair resolution on their part. I can't imagine them replacing the leather on the bolster, and again, it's pretty damn small. Either way, it's BS that these guys don't take better care of customer cars. What would you guys do about this?

Dealers are known for not taking care of your vehicle. They don't have mechanics, they have kids that were willing to say "Yes, I'm mechanically inclined." when asked on their interview.
I see your problem the same way I'd see someone complaining that they found a pot leaf in their car after letting a drug dealer borrow it for the weekend.
There is no fair resolution. You will always have some kind of mark there unless the entire bolster is replaced.

Don't listen to itchytoe. You're car should be delivered back to you in EXACTLY the same condition it was in when you dropped it off. No questions asked. One thing you have to get in the habit about is checking over your car before you leave the dealership. That way they can't question anything - you're point it out right there on the spot. In your current scenario it might be difficult to prove they did it since you didn't note it at the dealership. But, maybe they'll work with you and take your word.
Also, I've seen this type of thing happen to many people across a wide range of dealerships from BMW, Audi, Infiniti, VW, Mitsubishi, Subaru, etc. Most people have had success getting damage repaired. A lot of times it depends on the dealership (as with just about everything). If their a legit dealer, they'll work with you to find a satisfactory resolution.
Just remember...ALWAYS check your car over when you pick it up. If you notice anything say something about it before you leave. It will vastly increase your odds of getting things fixed without any hassle.

In my experience they are ASE certified technicians who also go to a lot of training, usually paid for by those very dealers.
In any case, if you have a good relationship with your dealer/service rep, I'd point it out and see what he says. If it's really minor and he offers a free oil change or something, go with it. I am pretty particular about my car as well, but don't sweat the small stuff. In the big scheme of things it really isn't worth it.
