Finally picked up my fresh powder coated wheels today. So excited! Had to wait about a month but they came out absolutely flawless! Color is black chrome with gloss.

Looking good, from the pics that doesn't look like black chrome but pics don't always represent the actual color very well. Look forward to install pics.

Yep but in this case, the pics represented the color very well. I was looking for a color that matches OEM hyper silver closely and I was surprised black chrome came the closest, with the gloss it looks amazing..and wet. Almost light gunmetal, and in the sun there's shades of bronze. I'm told there are different variations of the color black chrome.
I wanted a medium-shade gunmetal, so I sent a picture of some GTR rims to the powder manufacturer and I was surprised when they suggested a color they called "Ultra Black Chrome"
Had some trepidation but went with their recommendation, very happy with the result but the name is a complete misnomer...

Sorry, didn't mean to sound like I wasn't impressed, that's a very high quality job, and I have seen variations on black chrome, these are the black chrome ones I'm most familiar with, and again, really look forward to seeing those on your G, it's going to look

Definitely the name is complete misnomer if you haven't seen the color in person, you'd thought it was grey! It's the perfect color to go with our OB Gs imo, a slightly darker oem that pops Glad you went with it, looks great!

Not at all Brad, I can't wait until they're on the G as well! Right now I'm looking into some a/s tire options. I'll be going with what you've been recommending on this thread, 245/40/19 all around. The true test will be.. how long will my decision last about never wanting to lower my car on coilovers once the wheels are on my xS. Only couple fuzzy pics on stock awd suspension on this thread.. Still adamant about no tint as well.. The mod bug is coming...

Tire suggestion- just picked up a set of BF Goodrich G force and love them Nice
aggressive look and no issues in the performance side either.

Those BFGs get good reviews, also the Continental DWS are worth a look.

Thanks guys, those were high up on my list as well. Between those two I'm looking for quiet ride and long tread wear. But for the value the BFG can't be beat for sure.
