Nope, no spacers for me, but I still have OEM suspension, so the wheels don't really tuck in much

But if/when I install lowering springs, the additional camber will likely necessitate spacers, front, back or both.

What's the consensus on spacers for a flush look - 20mm front and 15mm back?

Probably. You'll have to see to be certain.

My non-summers are a square 8.5, 245/40/19. I ran your potential spacer set-up last season. I was a bit tucked in the back. I'm going to go 20mm all around when I put them back on. Your 9s on the back should compensate for that.

I need to get another set of 20mms myself at some point instead of my 15s. Oh well, they make great paper weights and they're pretty!! LOL

How many of you noticed the extra weight when you went from your OEM 18's to these coupe 19's? Did you notice it in acceleration, handling, braking, ride quality?

 

I don't think the weight difference is much more that 2 lbs per wheel which can be compensated by lighter tires. I wish say there is a very slight in acceleration but nothing that couldn't be chalked up to plecebo.

 

I noticed a difference in handling. But 245/40 and 275/35 tires are a pretty big upgrade to the OE 225/50 and 245/45

You could always go with a lighter tire--like the Pilot Super Sport--to mitigate some of the extra weight of the wheels.

You're saying that you noticed an improvement in handling, I'm guessing? How about ride quality?

 

More rubber on the road = more grip during acceleration? Obviously tire choice is a big factor, but relatively speaking better grip hasn't balanced out the impact from the wheels being slightly heavier?

 

I was actually kind of worried the shorter sidewalls would make it ride harsher, but if it did, it wasn't noticeable. My shocks and springs contributed far more to increased ride harshness than the tires.
