Sure. I will post before and after next week. My car is at the dealership today, and hopefully they can fix the vibration problem I consistently have. I really want that addressed before I bother with spacers / springs. This time next week my car will be in great shape, just in time for the Ohio snow. I can't wait!!!!

Vibration at idle or just when you're moving? Usually vibration while moving is unbalanced tires, bent wheel, or wheel weights are off. Vibration At idle from my past experience was a bad motor mount. Hope the dealer figures it out for you.

While moving. They roadforce balanced them, again, which for some reason they actually needed, but there was still a vibration after that. A week ago I decided to buy a torque wrench for my lug nuts, but never really got a chance to torque them all. Upon picking up my car from zspeed performance yesterday I was told to check the lug nuts after driving some especially because he noted they were on insanely tight. When I drove home after getting spacers installed and the car lowered, I noticed there was 0 vibration. It hit that me then that the cause of the vibration was over torqued lug nuts. Even though I would tell Sears to torque to factory settings, and I assumed the dealership would do the same, both probably just hit them with their air gun. We will see what happens over the next week, but I am pretty sure the problem is the lug nuts. I was also told the nuts were rusted out under the chrome cap so maybe that is some of the cause as well. Car drives great. I have no idea why people complain about the ride on springs; I have not noticed it being that bad at all, and I live in a neighborhood where the streets are all brick with lots of dips in the road.

I finally got to the point where I do all my wheel mounts, I just load them up in my truck and have the shop install or repair a tire and come home to do all the installs, rotations, etc. They can't keep their grimy hands off that air impact wrench no matter how insistent you are. I had to run out to the shop at Discount tire as the guy was getting ready to unleash hell on my new wheels, after I just stated hand torque only.
SHEESH!

Glad you got your "problem" solved Arrogant

I agree! the shop guys just love to torque the hell out of the lug nuts with the air gun THEN go back and use the torque wrench - SMH... on another note, I won't let an air gun get near the catalytic converters as well....it'll rattle the insides of the cats (the elements) and cause them to come loose and have a short life....just my 2 cents...

It even makes duckfeet look good, with spacers to mitigate the tuck.

As much as I love my Vossen CVT rims, if I had dropped the car *first*, before buying rims and realizing the car ought to be lowered, I might have just kept them year round and spent the money on other mods.

Then again... 10" wide rear wheels/tires on a RWD car with LSD, that's pretty cool too.

I was on the verge of picking up some coupe 19s last week, seller wanted $900 with ok tires on them but 2 rims had curb rash on a few spokes. I passed because I'm too lazy to put in the effort to fix and repaint silver. My car is black and I don't want to paint them black, tired of the all black look.

Mine went off to powder coating yesterday. Should be done early next week. Went with an OEM-like metallic silver. This will make them much easier to sell when I decide to upgrade.

I had to fix a good amount of rashing on each wheel, but they came out great. With the fresh PC, I'm pretty sure you won't be able to tell at all. It's amazing what a few hours with a dremel and sand paper can accomplish!
All in with PC, I'll be at $670 for the set, so I'm pretty stoked.

Don't forget to clean off the paint from the hub and lug nut seating surface's. You will get some vibration if the hubs are not clear of paint and it doesn't seat properly and the lugs will work them selves loose.
